Why is no-one talking about Fukushima?

The 3 March 2011 Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster (have a look here for a blow by blow account), left the world reeling with shock and apprehension at the time.

According to a 2012 survey undertaken by the Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun, 573 deaths have been certified as 'disaster related' to date. It appears that radiation is present in food sources up to 200 miles from the disaster zone.

Within a month of the disaster, radioactive material from this source has been recorded in the atmosphere across the entire northern hemisphere and also in the southern hemisphere, notably Australia, Fiji, Malaysia and Papua New Guinea.

Large amounts of radioactive material leaked into the coastal waters off Japan and the strong currents have carried the material far into Pacific Ocean. Fish caught along the Fukushima coast have been found to be contaminated.

According to Japan Times it will take 40 years to decommission the four reactors, a process which is being hampered by the extremely high levels of radiation in the basement of unit 1, levels high enough to sicken anyone exposed within minutes.

Japan is now suffering it's first trade deficit since the 1980's and it's manufacture is declining as the world market is wary of importing goods that may be contaminated.

But is this just Japan's problem? Some sources are citing this disaster as 'a nuclear war' that has been waged.According to this source massive amounts of radiation are still leaking from unit 4 which is apparently in danger of imploding as it is in such a bad shape. If this happens they say that the resulting fallout will result in a 'mass extinction event of both humans and animals'.

Curiously, two things have occurred to me. Many years ago I was reading about Bible Codes and I remember clearly one prediction about the third world war being started by Japan. At the time I thought it impossible, but now.......

The other thing of course is the end of the Mayan Calendar on 21st December 2012.

But assuming that we are still all breathing on the 22nd December this year, we still need to consider how this disaster is already affecting us and how to deal with it
